Note pad records are a useful tool in helping to track which letters have been received by the customer. When a letter is generated for a customer, the system will automatically enter a note into their account based on the note pad code associated with that letter. The note pad code is entered into the Collections Letter Setup Master. Each letter created in the letter master will require a unique Note Pad code.
From the i-Pak Collections File Maintenance menu, select Notepad Code. The option on this menu will link you to i-Pak's standard Note pad Code Master that is found under the Accounting Master Files section. Click here to view the Note Pad Code Master.
Here are some example Note Pad Codes, but you can use whatever Code and Description best fits your company and the letters you will be sending out.
